Thanksgiving Meal Assembly Line

VOLUNTEER WARREN Partners with

Warren Unit #11, American Legion Auxiliary

For 22 years, the Auxiliary has organized the community effort that prepares and delivers holiday meals to the homebound, elderly and needy in Barrington, Bristol, Warren and Riverside. The holiday meals program serves over 200 people on Thanksgiving Day.

The Auxiliary could benefit from as many volunteers as we can muster to join in their annual assembly line which packages the prepared food and readies the complete meals for delivery throughout the East Bay.

Thursday, Thanksgiving Morning, November 24th

10:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. (approximate guess based on previous years)

St. Thomas's Church : 500 Metacom Avenue (kitchen in the rear)

*** The Auxiliary requests that volunteers do not bring their children, unless child is old enough (teen) where s/he could serve completely independent of their parents' assistance. Let's please observe their wish to ensure efficiency in their process. ***
