This is where you will find all upcoming service opportunities. Volunteer Warren's own grassroots initiatives as well as opportunities to serve alongside our partnering groups.
The opportunities will be listed here and sent out through our list-serve. When you find service work that interests you,
matches your skill set, and fits your schedule you will sign up for it through the link to an online sign-up platform.
This Volunteer Warren ACTION opportunity will be focusing on CLEANING - primarily the basement and second floor of the Mary V. Quirk community building. This space is used for multiple youth sports, youth activities, the Warren Rec Summer Camp, and community meeting space. It is in desperate need of some love and attention.
Supplies available on site are limited. So think of this as a BYOB -- Bring-Your-Own-Broom. We will be sweeping, mopping, disposing of debris, dusting, washing walls, and anything else we come across. Cleaning supplies to bring to share could be -- broom, dustpan, mop, bucket, bleach, lysol, various other cleaning liquids, trash bags, dust rags, razor/scraper (paint removal), and any other cleaning products that would be helpful for a larger space. You may want to bring gloves for yourself. All of our work will be INDOORS.
